Why volunteer with Fysc-Organization

People volunteer for different reasons:

you might want to give something back to your local community or a particular group which helped you at a difficult time in your life

you might feel isolated and want to meet new friends

you may need to learn new skills and keep yourself active

you could have experiences and skills you’d like to share with others.

You may discover other countries , other way of life and other cultures  without spending  much  money

Fysc Organization can open to all of you some opportunities to achieve your hobbies in a flexible way , In Morocco you can do your volunteering , gaining several friends , discovering other cultures and of course building  intercultural with Moroccan society .

Although you won’t be paid, there are several things to gain for volunteering:

building up confidence and self-esteem

meeting people in similar circumstances and involving in an interesting intercultural learning process

Learning new experiences  and  skills

helping others as well as yourself

Having a lot of fun!

Reinforcing the local organization in their Advocacy so to let the government recognize the volunteering by ensuring legislation and regulations support, rather than discourage, volunteering.

Be sure that your work will have an important  impact on peoples’ lives and the community around you, as well as making your own life more fulfilled .

Fysc Organization AND VOLUNTEERING 

Volunteering has a long history and a great tradition in Morocco society; volunteer culture was brutally broadcast on Moroccan population, several forms of volunteering are still existing for the past, the main objectives for this is: solidarity, brotherhood, cooperation and understanding.

Fysc Organization describes volunteering as follows:

- Sharing your time, experience and knowledge

- Sharing your energy freely and by choice, without concern for financial gain.

Fysc Organization was created by citizen initiatives, in fact it is one of the new organizations hosting volunteers in Morocco, but she proves her presence among the civil society, the organization of various volunteer projects and development throughout Morocco mainly through short-term work camps and long-term volunteers (LTV) investments. Most projects are conducted independently, and some are conducted in cooperation with local associations. We are part of a global network of like-minded organizations that strive to make a difference by encouraging young people to volunteer values MSP programs for local communities. We send and receive young people from all over the world, giving the opportunity to everyone to make a difference in his / her own life and in the lives of others through the social work field.

Fysc Organization usually choose projects that have a close relationship with the local community and meet their expectations, particularly in the areas of:

- Education: The teaching of languages, the strengthening of training capacities and skills of children and young people

- Working with people with special needs, caring for people with disabilities, street children

In general, we prefer to adopt projects that reflect the value Fysc Organization such as solidarity, social cohesion

 volunteers help thousands of entrepreneurs start small businesses and achieve new levels of success in their existing businesses. Volunteering at Csm Fida is a way for you to give back to your community, connect with fellow business owners, and pass on your knowledge and expertise to the next generation of entrepreneurs in your community.

Fysc Organization  volunteers provide confidential business mentoring services, both in person and online. We lead seminars and workshops to help small business owners meet their goals and achieve success. We help expand outreach of  through marketing and alliance building in our local communities. We provide subject matter expertise by industries and professional skills.

WHAT CAN YOU DO

 

Whatever your age 18 or more, whether you can commit regularly or occasionally, there is likely to be something suitable for you. There are opportunities to volunteer in a wide variety of settings such works in centers or care homes, teaches children and youth with fewer opportunities ,  offices or your own home and you can take part in many different activities such as fundraising, sports, befriending, administrative work, or practical help and support to children, young or older people. What you do as a volunteer depends on what you want to achieve. Everyone has a personal reason for volunteering and you should choose something that will help you fulfill your personal goal.
In general our objectives of MTV/LTV Programs are:
To promote international understanding and cultural exchange.
To encourage voluntary service as a means to reinforce the self-capacities and encourage peace, equality and mutual respect.
To spark new ideas for a sustainable development.
To stress importance on natural resource management, and help conserving our nature
 
What
Fysc Organization expects from you?
We welcome anybody who is interested to participate in our voluntary programs regardless of age,. Most of our programs do not require any specific skills. But as the work is development in a in a context of cultural diversity, we expect from you to be:
 
1. Open Minded
It is essential to be open to new ideas, values and ways of doing things. If you remain “open minded” then you will have new opportunities and new friends. The enlargement of one’s mind is a pre-requisite and the heart of inter-cultural exchange.
 
2. Flexible
It is essential to be flexible to ideas, people, and situations. While working, you will be dealing in a context of cultural diversity. Taking a flexible approach is often the best way to deal with such situations.
 
3. Creative
It is essential to be creative because Innovating and adopting a creative approach to your volunteer placement and work maintains motivation and prevents routine. The people with whom you are working with is expecting you to give a new ways and method of work. When you start to think creatively it is amazing what can be achieved.
 
4. Committed
As we are a voluntary organization committed in bringing international volunteers and local communities together, we understand that sometimes it will be challenging for you to adjust to the local conditions. For this reason, we expect you to realize that this requires a strong commitment towards your program. However, we also feel that by completing your program, you have a lot to gain personally in terms of experience and understanding yourself better.

Once we receive you application we will send a info sheet  in which you can find  all the information you need .
